asked, ""Shortstack how did you get into my kitchen? But most importantly," she pauses. "Is that Italian in that take out bag?""
"I kinda…used my lock picking set? I got a new one cause my last one is…well I can’t get it back. And yes it sure is Italian!" Mickey said with a slightly guilty grin. He hurried over and hugged his cousin happily. "Missed ya a lot!"
“—-Note to self, get a new locking system,” she murmured to herself. The hug caught her off guard but she warmly patted the mouse’s back. “Heh, I couldn’t of been missed that much. But c’mon - let’s eat! I’m hungry and it’s been a long day of looking for a new job.”
"She hasn’t meet him yet. She had to go on a small trip and haven’t returned yet." Ariel replied, in a worried tone. She continued to make the way to the nursery, opening the door slowly because the last time she checked, her baby was sleeping. What didn’t seem to be the case now. "You did? But why?"
"I didn’t have sharing skills as a kid. And my dad meant the world to me, I didn’t want to share him with yet another brother. But as time went on he became my mother’s favorite and I was daddy’s little girl." She poked her head from behind Ariel to peek at the baby. "He sure does have spunk."
Ariel gave her friend a bright smile. “His name is Jason.” She replied before making a move, inviting Shego to follow her. “C’mon, he is in the nursery.”
“Jason, that’s a good name.” Shego followed her friend down the hall. “How’s Melody liking her new brother? I remember when my first youngest brother was born - I uh, buried all his clothes in the backyard.” Hey, she didn’t want to share her dad’s love with anymore kids.
"—All I ever wanted was the world. I can’t help that I neeeeeed it all. The primadonna life, the rise and fall~”
"Well… do you want to meet him?"
Sometimes it was just too easy to bring on the sarcasm but she really didn’t feel like making Ariel cry today so she decided to be blunt. “Yeah I would. what’s the kids name?”
